- Students at any level start off by taking the Sokikom assessment. Each math area (i.e. game) has its own assessment.
- Then, an appropriate lesson (i.e. single player game) is presented to the student based on their individual needs.
- If students stumble on a question, full instructional support is provided through specific animated instructional lessons.
- Once students are ready, teachers and/or students can create team-based multiplayer games for other students to join.
- When playing the team-based multiplayer games, students collaborate and compete in a safe and secure environment in real-time to solve math problems. No personal information can be shared because free-form chatting is NOT allowed. Instead, students communicate through predefined messages.
- Teamwork, more than individual performance, is necessary for winning the multiplayer games.
- Sokikom games align with the Common Core Math Standards for grades 1-6.
- Teachers can view classroom or student reports showing game progress.
- Generate behavior reports for each student to share with parents & other teachers.
